Types of cookies we use

We use cookies in four categories. The table below shows what each category is for and whether you can opt out.

Third-party cookies

We use a small number of third-party services that may set their own cookies:

• Google Analytics 4 — anonymised aggregate analytics. We have configured GA4 with IP anonymisation and shortened retention.
• Embedded video / external content — if pages embed YouTube or Vimeo content, those services may set cookies. We avoid such embeds where alternatives exist.

We do not use cookies from advertising networks, social-media tracking pixels, or third-party data brokers.

Event-platform cookies

For events powered by Zlicc, separate cookie behaviour applies. The event organiser is the data controller for that event and may have their own cookie policy. Where you participate in a Zlicc-powered event, you will be presented with the relevant cookie disclosure for that event environment.

Managing cookies

You have control over cookies in three ways:

• Browser settings — most browsers let you block or delete cookies through privacy settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may break site functionality.
• Opt-out tools — Google Analytics provides an opt-out browser add-on
• Do Not Track — we respect Do Not Track signals where technically feasible

We may update this Cookie Policy as we adjust our analytics or functional setup. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
