For HDFC Bank's Festive Treats campaign, Zlicc created a custom live Google Map experience that showed customers only nearby merchants with active Festive Treats offers, then let them tap into each merchant for offer details.

The brief

What HDFC Bank asked for.

HDFC Bank's Festive Treats campaign had a simple customer problem: the offers were valuable, but discovery needed to happen in the customer's immediate area. A standard offer directory would make people search. The activation needed to show what was nearby, relevant and available now.

The ask was to build a custom map experience on a live Google Map where only participating Festive Treats merchants appeared. Customers could see nearby merchants, filter by location/category and tap any merchant to understand the offer before visiting.

The build

How we engineered the answer.

Zlicc created a campaign-specific merchant layer on top of a live Google Map. The experience filtered the map to only show merchants enrolled in Festive Treats, with pins clustered by proximity and compact offer previews for quick scanning.

On tap, the merchant detail view opened with the offer, location context and next action. The same logic could support on-ground staff demos, kiosk exploration and mobile-first customer discovery without making users browse a long static list.

Customers opened the map, saw participating merchants in their nearby area, tapped into a pin and understood the offer before deciding where to go.
