Registration, badge print and dashboards.
A flagship Indian industry exhibition had outgrown its operational stack. 23,000 delegates, 600 exhibitors, four halls, three days. The previous registration system had caused 90-minute queues on day one in 2023. The 2024 brief: zero-queue access, real-time per-exhibitor lead pipes, and sponsor-grade dashboards by close of day three.
What Enterprise Exhibitions asked for.
Enterprise Exhibitions runs one of India's largest industry exhibitions across multiple hall formats. The 2023 edition's bottleneck had been the registration desk — 90-minute queues at peak, exhibitor complaints about lead-capture delays, and sponsor reports that didn't ship until two weeks after close.
The 2024 ask was operational: fix the choke points, scale the lead pipes, ship the reports faster. The numbers had to land in sponsor inboxes within 48 hours of close — not two weeks.
How we engineered the answer.
We rebuilt the operational stack end-to-end. Self-serve registration with mobile-first flow handled 73% of pre-event sign-ups; the other 27% used printer-equipped desks at venue entry with a 12-second average badge-print time.
RFID badges enabled real-time hall flow heatmaps and per-booth dwell tracking. Each of the 600 exhibitors got a dedicated lead pipe — every badge scan at their booth flowed into a dashboard with conversation context, dwell time, and a CRM-ready export. Sponsor dashboards updated hourly during the show.
The post-event reporting pipeline ran continuously from day one — by close of day three, sponsor reports were already 80% ready. They shipped within 24 hours.
What happened on the day.
Day one peak was 09:30 to 11:00 — when the 2023 queue had hit 90 minutes. The 2024 entry pipeline absorbed it without backlog: pre-registered delegates walked in via the self-scan lane, walk-ups got their badges printed in under 15 seconds.
By 11:30 day one, the live sponsor dashboards were already showing footfall heatmaps and the first qualified-lead exports. Several exhibitors asked if they could keep the dashboard live for follow-up campaigns. We turned it into a 30-day post-event extension product.
